About Me

My name is Nathan. I lived most of my life in the United States. In 2022, I retired, hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, and left the US to explore the world. Now I travel at least 6 months out of every year, and if I need a rest, I will typically head to Ecuador.

I have owned a camera since I was 12 years old and have been routinely shooting for about 20 years; sometimes seriously, sometimes not. For the past 10 years, I have been fortunate enough to have the resources and the time to travel extensively. That has led to experiences and photo opportunities that many can only dream of.

Just a sidenote. While I do consider myself a photographer, it is not the only reason I travel. Sometimes, the experience is more important than the photo. Also, even though I have been traveling alone for quite a while, I do not travel alone by choice. Finding someone who not only loves to travel, but actually does it has not been easy. I am still looking for someone who will join me on at least some of my adventures.
