I have always been something of a wanderer, but since 2022 I have upped the ante a bit, given up having a permanent home, and spend most of my time traveling and shooting. When I need a rest, I have been retreating to Ecuador, but am now considering a shift away from South America and more toward Africa and southern Europe. Sitll not sure.
I am mostly a Canon shooter, but I have dabbled a bit with Lumix. When you have as much Canon glass as I do, it is hard to move away from the brand. And besides, I feel Canon is the best choice for me.
For those of you who always seem to want more personal info, I am a 60-something, retired RN, who spent my last 10 years of work in healthcare IT, which included web design and some time as a database administrator. Not a common combination. In 2022, I quit working, hiked the PCT, and left the US. There is a good chance I will not return.
